Vitamins
Regulators of our metabolism
Vitamins belong to the smallest regulators of our metabolism. They act as co-factors of numerous enzymes, which could be referred to as metabolic catalysers. Vitamins (vita = life) are a vital necessity, and they are essential, i.e. our body cannot produce them, but depends on the intake through food. Vitamins are classified according to their solubility.

Fat-soluble vitamins can be absorbed by the body only in combination with fat!
